Portugal Through the Lens of a Camera Phone

I drifted around Portugal during the Moche Ripcurl Pro shooting with my Nokia cell phone. I picked up my mirrorless camera a few times and never touched my dslr (digital single-lens reflex camera).  I dodged Kelly Slater’s freesurfs, refused to attend the contest’s fancy dinners at the Marriot Hotel, and evaded my media accreditation. It was mostly just me and my smart phone – a zen-like kind of approach to photography.
