Parker Coffin really came into his own a few years ago. He was always very, very good at surfing but something seemed to click. These days, he’s surfing with a kind of focused and powerful frenzy, pairing classic old school power and new school aerial antics seamlessly. It’s a good look, and it doesn’t just work on right points like the one he grew up surfing — stick him out the back on a big Pipe day, and he’ll blow the doors off. Put him at maxing J-Bay, and he’ll be the one to watch. Parker’s got more in the tank than most, and we like to see it.
