Conditions at the Quik Pro France were a little shifty, to say the least. From fat, slow monsters and small mushy rollers to those dredging, sand-filled black death pits, Hossegor did its best to throw as many wrenches in the surfer’s cogs as it could. Finally, things seemed like they were going to smooth out a bit. While organizers played the waiting game, John John Florence, Dane Reynolds, Josh Kerr, Jordy Smith, Taj Burrow, and a whole bunch more pulled out all the stops and hunted down some french beachbreak barrels. Hopefully they’re doing this right now in Portugal.
