Ghana. Right point at a fishing village. Travel in West Africa is the full sensory experience, with a plethora of sights, sounds and smells. The coastline has many unridden points and beachbreaks, usually with no one surfing. Despite being introduced to surfing when Bruce Brown stopped in Accra to film with Mike Hynson and Robert August for "Endless Summer" in 1963, it's only recently that locals have been surfing in any numbers.
