Oman. Walking in the Wahiba Dunes, towards the Arabian Sea. After some time in the desert, it's easy to understand why desert people think of the dunes as a kind of sea - without trees, rocks or landmarks of any kind, it's similar to traveling over water, but a sea of sand.
