With the Margaret River Pro in the midst of chopping the heads off surfers hoping to continue on with the CT, all eyes have been on Western Australia. Well, not all eyes — just the ones interested in watching the CT. But over on the Gold Coast, Coolangatta lit up. Snapper and the Superbank was the place to be, along with a handful of sheltered spots, and the waves were… well, they were exactly as good as you think they are when Snapper lights up.
