I remember the first day Reef paddled by me at Tunnels on Kauai where we grew up. I was like, “Who is this kid?” He was about 13-years-old and the time, and a fearless tube rider even then. Now he’s one of the most talented tubesmen on the planet, and a good friend. We both are living in LA now, and jumped in the water a few days ago for a few at Zuma Beach.
