Under the House-In town fights the same erosion problems as our neighbors do farther south, just not quite as extreme. Kitty Hawk always seems to get the worst of the over wash, and I'm afraid it doesn't look too good for these houses along the Beach road, Hwy 12. Photo: Mickey McCarthy.
Fall and late autumn can be a magic time in the Outer Banks. Crowds thin out, and swells fill in. This fall was no different as we’ve had a nice run of surf. Nothing huge, but it’s been very consistent! Here are some shots of the crew during one of our favorite seasons.
