We recently had a little email back and forth with Colin Nearman, one of our favorite photographers.
“Did you end up shooting this recent swell?” we wrote. “Heard ’twas magical up your way!” Unfortunately for us, the weather wasn’t interested in playing. “The waves got pretty good up here,” Colin responded, “but the weather was a bummer. I went out to shoot three mornings in a row and the fog and overcast conditions didn’t let up.” He did, however, have a few keepers from Hurricane Marie. And they are definitely keepers. Remember Marie? Of course you do. How could you forget?
