The Sacred Craft Consumer Surfboard Expo filled the Rittenhouse Building in Santa Cruz, California with over 3,200 surfers, shapers, and icons of the sport on March 19 and 20, 2011. After a full weekend of shaping and celebrating the surfboard and the people who make them, Ward Coffey won the Tribute to the Masters Shape-off honoring Doug Haut.

“This is an unbelievable honor,” said Coffey upon accepting his winning check for $1,000. “These four shapers are all incredibly gifted craftsman, and I’m thrilled to be standing here with them.

The Sacred Craft Consumer Surfboard Expo will visit the Del Mar Fairgrounds on October 8 & 9, 2011 where Carl Ekstrom will be honored.
