This is my mate Jono Bruton. The guy is a beast and flies like a bird! Just raw talent! Jono is from a place called Gonubie (home of legends), and can often be seen dominating his local point with huge turns and an aerial attack that leaves onlookers gasped. Photo: Pierre de Villiers
South Africa is wild. It’s brutal. It’s rugged and ruthless. But if you’re willing to put in the time and patiently explore, the pay off is extremely rewarding. And the chances of getting the best waves of your life with no one out are highly likely. Especially if you’re the adventurer type. Here are a few of my favorite images taken over the past year in this wonderful region I am so humbled to call home.
