South Swell Malibu Mayhem

There’s a good reason why Malibu is so damn crowded. Sure, it’s basically the birthplace of surfing in California, and yes, it’s a hotbed of extraordinarily talented surfers, and it is surely one of the most beautifully wonderful mashups of surfing culture, but none of those are the real reason why, on every decent south swell, it’s a seething mass of humanity. The real reason is that it’s fucking perfect.
