Nothing compares to scoring epic waves at home. Nothing. And recently surfing’s resident gregarious stoke master, Ben Gravy, did just that as New Jersey pumped and pumped. And in an unlikely turn of events, Kelly Slater turned up for a piece of the action. That’s right. The guy that’s manufactured and has access to the pinnacle of artificial wave technology (to be fair, that we’ve seen so far) turned up in New Jersey. In borrowed equipment no less. It was that good. The scenario is akin to a once-every-few-years score at home and seeing a unicorn, all in the same day. And Ben’s reaction (around 11:00) is priceless.
