At the beginning of June, one of Bali’s coolest surfing events went down: the Deus 9 Foot & Single. It’s more than just a surf event–it’s a weekend of art, music, and yes, surfing. It’s a celebration of the whole culture around Canggu surfing. Like most things, it started off small. Just a gathering of a few like-minded people doing fun things. Then it caught fire. Now, it’s a world-renowned weekend, drawing some of the best surfers from around the world.
