The Mentawais is one of those places that everyone has on their bucket list for a surf trip. It’s such a famous place, and for good reason. It’s not just the waves, though–although they are some of the best the planet has on tap–it’s the water, the people, the colors, the food… it’s a whole different world, and it is a beautiful one.
