Hurricane Epsilon threw one hell of a swell at Nazaré. It was, in fact, one of the biggest anyone’s ever seen out there, and that’s saying something. Of course, for those who are interested in surfing waves that most people can’t fathom — and that’s a very select group of people — that swell was a draw impossible to resist. But part of surfing giant waves is enduring giant wipeouts, and the World Surf League was kind enough to string together a wipeout reel that will make your butt pucker.
