Once a year, we (people in the Netherlands) experience heavy snowfall. It’s a rare thing to have offshore wind and waves as combined on one snowy day – like being an alternate dimension where perfect conditions actually do exist. We have to put in a lot of effort here to get those waves, but it’s exactly why we end up appreciating it all so much in the long run.
