Open Door. Rarely does my 50mm lens and housing fit inside a barrel. I was lucky enough to have this wave break over me and it had the perfect shape.

My inspiration comes from the thrill of being in the water and being able to capture something special. Even though it seems that wave photography is overdone these days, there is always a unique photo that stands out from the rest. That is what inspires me to chase the waves, follow the light and keep sharing nature’s gift with the surfing community.
