A few months back we featured an interview with Wavegarden co-founder and lead engineer Josema Odrioza. Well, the Wavegarden crew is back at it. A few days ago the artificial wave played host to its first contest of sorts (a heat between Miguel Pupo and Gabriel Medina) after a WQS event in Zarautz suffered from a lack of swell. The surf at the Wavegarden? Well, it was small. But it was consistent. When it gets big….man, it’s gonna be good.
