It was time for me to get off the sand and step into the water. But why chose Malibu? I have a bulging disc in my neck which is the main reason I stopped surfing 15 years ago, but it doesn’t bother me as much on a longboard (more volume and much easier to paddle). I wanted to test my new longboard on a wave that seems made for long boarding, first point Malibu. These are my first waves in a long time.
