Yep, this might be shorebreak, but it’s big shorebreak and these skimboarders took advantage of Aliso Creek going off during the Hurricane Hilary swell. In fact, Blair Conklin and his crew might’ve gotten the best waves of the window.
Blair is one helluva good surfer who can ride pretty much anything you put under his feet. We did a trip with him a couple years ago and he definitely showed us the way. Here, Blair and Lucas Fink get as barreled as anyone else in Southern California, but only feet from the sand.
