For the uninitiated, surfing in Israel may have a novel connotation. In other words, surfing is possible there but certainly not preferable. Most who haven’t been have preconceived notions of surfing in the Med, mostly based in a rough understanding of surf forecasting. That is, as a small body of water the Mediterranean produces limited fetch and, therefore, small waves. Or so you’d think.
