This Is Kai Lenny Kite Surfing Montana’s Yellowstone River

This is Kai Lenny, trying to kitesurf on the Yellowstone River in Montana, and not having a whole lot of luck, as you can tell. He gets flushed down the river, attached to his kite (always a scary thing to be attached to anything in a river), the wind dies and he runs into horrible weather. “It was like juggling while standing on a bowling ball covered in Vaseline rolling down a tightrope,” he said. But Lenny doesn’t let that stop him. Because his toy quiver is full. Instead, he busts out the SUP, the shortboard and a number of other toys, to enjoy some Montana whitewater in a completely different way.
