This Is Kelly Slater Getting Dropped In On at Desert Point

It’s curious isn’t it, that Mr. Kelly Slater pulled out of Punta Roca this week, June 11, to be exact, but here we are, watching a video from the YouTube channel thedailysurf, from June 10 at Desert Point. It’s a fine day at DP. Not the most perfect we’ve ever seen from there, but good nonetheless. A day most of us would pay for an airline ticket to surf. But the most notable part of the session is Kelly Slater getting stuffed by a regular Joe at the 9:30 mark, above. Karma for claiming injury? We’re not sure but it’s definitely a good stuffing and Mr. Slater does his best with what’s left of the wave. It is a curious video indeed.
