You’ve surely heard of El Gringo. Sometimes called the Chilean Pipeline, it’s a wave with serious power. Big and fast, El Gringo’s not a wave to be trifled with. Strong currents, a huge impact zone, and a rocky shoreline make it a terrible place to get stuck inside. Airan Cabrera found out just how terrible it is back in 2014, and it makes for entertaining viewing. Thankfully, some skilled rescue guys sped to the scene and pulled him from harm’s way, but not before he felt the power of El Gringo.
