Lee-Ann Curren comes from serious surfing stock. Her father, of course, is a legend. Her mother was a European champ back in the day. Two aunts, an uncle, and two cousins have hoisted surfing trophies, and her grandfather named a now-relatively famous wave.
With a bloodline like that, a father like Tom, and a vast amount of talent, it was clear that Lee-Ann would become a fantastic surfer. It’s not constrained to a surfboard, either. Lee Ann plays all sorts of instruments and plays them well. She is, as they say, a well-rounded woman.
