Bruce Irons at Teahupoo
A remarkable session was had this day at Teahupoo. Many perfect waves ridden, but I distinctly recall the very moment that this frame poured through my viewfinder and thinking to myself at that very moment: "I may well have just shot a surf photo about as good as one can get." This image was the result, and although Bruce Irons did eventually get engulfed by the foam ball, this wave was absolutely as perfect as they get right at that moment. Photo: Sean Davey
