Two of Surfing’s Most Interesting Characters Do a Surf Trip to Japan

Tom Curren and Mason Ho continue to separately captivate the surf world in different ways. Curren’s status as a legend goes without saying, but recently the man’s been pioneering a unique variety of surf craft that’s either totally weird or lightyears ahead of its time. His boards essentially look like skimboards, but are more buoyant and have fins.  God knows why he’s tinkering away with a sander instead of getting prototypes made.
