Tyler Warren surfs in a very particular way. There’s almost no aggression in his wave riding, just a kind of fluid, smooth-as-silk style. He surfs with the wave, not on the wave. And of course, there’s a certain kind of surfboard that lends itself pretty damn well to that kind of surfing: the fish.
You may have seen a few videos here and there of Channel Islands’ newest offering. There was Sage Erickson smooth as velvet. There was Dane Gudauskas showing exactly why everyone needs a fish in their life. And now there’s Tyler Warren, whose surfing will make you want to make love, not war.
