Max Holloway fights for a living. He’s a featherweight in the UFC, and he’s got a pretty decent record. Born in Honolulu and raised in Waianae — a notoriously rough part of Oahu — he’s been a pro fighter since 2010. He also married Alessa Quizon (now Alessa Holloway) a few years back, so it makes sense that he enjoys sliding around on waves. We can’t all be professional surfers, but that doesn’t make it any less fun. Holloway recently headed to Japan to try his hand at the Shizunami Surf Stadium, and although he’s not quite at the level of Alessa, he had a damn good time. And that’s what matters, right?
