This trip to Australia was RAD. We explored as much as we could in the short time we had there. Here's a shot from the Wave Rock. About to get barreled by this 50ft monster! Photo: @M_Ivo

I love getting barreled. I don't get really actually barreled very often but the idea of tucking in makes me tick and keeps me stoked. Photo: @ajmacdonell

The photo was taken Summer of 2014 of my son Nicholas in Ventura California. When there's swell here it's the best place to surf, when it's flat we take anything we can get! Photo: @stephenmansfield

This was in North Iceland while on a trip documenting paddling / surfing in frigid waters. I was Stand Up Paddling and saw this iceberg that looked like a perfect barrel so I had to get a selfie. Photo: @slatertrout

Light is amazing and capturing it in motion is a whole lot of fun. With these its all about timing, placement, and knowing where previous trail is. Stoked! Get Barreled! Photo: @speonnphoto

The central coast is RAD. The fact that I can make a quick and soulful drive to a beach that isn't filled with 100 other photographers, and still get epic surf. Its always a search, but I think the time you spend searching has a lot of personal value when you look back on each swell you chased. Here is my buddy getting shacked at the new Skate Park in SLO. My friends and I went to the west side of Oahu and trekked up a mountain into a hidden cave and took these shots. There's only one road that spans along the water so it's very peaceful. We took turns throwing our hands out and taking in the epic views. Photo: @momozygote

I traveled to the Cayman Islands fir a week to shoot a project. Of course, I timed it just as a southern hemi swell lit up Southern California. These islands are magical but the sea is like a lake. We stumbled upon this fountain and tucked into some fun ones!! Photo: @lockooooo

This was my first trip to Jalama Beach. We camped for 3 days and scored clean, shoulder high surf every morning, this place is epic! Each night we hiked down the beach for a camp fire. This was shot right before sunset on our last day. The Urban Barrels team throwing up the classic hand barrel, keeping the stoke high. Photo: @riverjordanphoto
