Gerry Lopez lives in Oregon. It’s a far cry from living on the North Shore before it was the zoo it is now. The waves are a far cry from Pipeline, et al. But Gerry Lopez doesn’t mind–along with his son, Alex, Gerry snowboards as much as he can. Of course, he still surfs. He surfs when the waves are good and when the waves are bad. He surfs in the ocean and on rivers. In Bend, Oregon, there is a river surfing community unlike any other, and every now and then, Gerry Lopez shows his face. And while it’s not Pipeline, he’s still on of the most stylish surfers out there.
