If you follow along with surf happenings, you’ve heard two things by now. John John Florence walked away from Hurley and the North Shore has been ablaze with waves. As is always the case when the North Shore lights up, the world’s best are out there — especially now with the Volcom Pipe Pro underway. In the days leading up to the event, everyone who’s anyone in the Pipeline world was doing what they do best: getting waves. And yes, that’s JJF minus a Hurley sticker on the nose of his board.
