Coco Ho had a rough go in 2019. She was forced to pull out of J-Bay, the first event she’d missed in 11 years. “I had to officially withdraw from JBay as I suffered a minor tear in my MCL the other evening trying to be a ladybird,” she wrote on Instagram.
After she injured her knee, she was sidelined for the back half of 2019 — hell for a fierce competitor and hell for someone who loves surfing. But, like any great competitor, Coco was determined to get redemption. “And I did it!!” she wrote on a recent YouTube video. “With the best squad and lots of falls.”
