There’s something so very européen about surfing in the French Basque Country at night with LED-lit rails. Like bringing the excitement of the discotheque to the water or something. At this year’s Surf de Nuit contest in Anglet, France the waves may not have completely shown up, but that didn’t stop the competitors from getting down on their glowing craft in the moonlight. The visuals of this contest are pretty amazing. And the crowd certainly looks entertained, if only for the novelty of it all.
