Great white sharks are curious, of course. They’re also very stealth. Which makes one wonder, how many times have we been out there in the early morning, or late evening, waiting for waves, and been this close to one? For any of us who’ve put our lives into this worthless pursuit, it’s more than likely happened – probably more than once. Carlos Gauna, or the Malibu Artist, demonstrates this theory, as a pair of surfers, one actually in the water, get a visit from the tax collector without even knowing it. And this time, thankfully, they weren’t charged.
