Mick Fanning has spent a lot of time getting barreled. Growing up with Snapper Rocks for a playground will do that for a guy. But no matter who you are or where you grew up, a 20-second tube ride is incredible. Which is why Kelly Slater built his wave pool: long barrels are good barrels.
