Rob Machado could surf on anything and make it look good. He could knock you out, wax up your back, mount your unconscious body, and make you look great. He could surf atop of a live alligator and get barreled. That’s why it’s not a surprise that he surfs this giant version of the Go Fish so well. Of course, most people will generally surf a board like this a few inches shorter than their regular shortboard. For Machado, that means somewhere around a 5’2. So when he took out an experimental version of the Go Fish that measured in at 7’0, it wasn’t for the sake of performance—it was for the sake fun.
