Blair Conklin is a connoisseur of river waves. He’s surfed enough of them. He’s ridden them in Idaho, Wyoming, Hawaii, and yes, near his home in Laguna Beach, Calif. He has this wave so dialed, he knows when it’s going to form, how it’s going to form, and how fun it’ll be to ride. That’s why, when it does form, he drops everything so he can ride it with his friends (or film them riding it). Yes, one of the best skimboarders in the world is also a lover of river waves. And you can see why.
