The Black Sea isn’t exactly where most people think of when they think of surfing. The water is cold. The water isn’t crystal clear. But there are waves, believe it or not. For more than a year, Kokorev Konstantin and Liberty Films traveled the country chasing swells, capturing the whole journey on film.
This is the third installment of that journey around Russia, and it shows an element of surfing that, although it’s rarely seen, is consistent with surfing in all corners of the globe: that universal stoke.
