Surfing in Alaska used to be a no-go. But wetsuits what they are these days, it isn’t as crazy as it once was. Still, waves, as we were once told by a guide in AK, are hard to access. Helicopter or boat, mainly.
If you’re willing to put in the work, though, Alaska has its rewards. Just ask Yadin Nicol and Mike Gleason here. Back in October, the two set off to see what the Last Frontier had to offer in surf and fish. It doesn’t exactly look epic, but its sure to inspire wanderlust.
