One thing we can count on in this life is that the world will change. The old is old. The new is in. The Man at the End of the World is a short flick from GLP Films featuring Don Germán, whose family was the first to settle Tierra del Fuego, Chile, a beautiful landscape where the mountains meet the sea. His way of life was the land and working off it to provide for his family. But the world, of course, has changed. Germán has grown older. At first despising the traveling nomad, he comes to find in the adventure tourist a kindred spirit: people who appreciate the landscape as much as he does. And he can still provide for his family. This is an interesting look at how adventure tourism is changing and reshaping the world around us.
