As a professional cinematographer for more than 15 years now, I’ve met a lot of people from all over the world. This short film series I’ve created, called LifePlan, is about artists, musicians, riders — people I’ve met in my travels who have an interesting story to tell.
So let me introduce you to Vernon Deck, an outdoor/sports photographer who fits that bill with an interesting story to tell. Each winter he travels around the world from shoot to shoot fulfilling his duties as a Volcom team photographer. During the Summer months, he lives aboard his 37-ft sailboat Schiehallion and has a longterm goal of sailing around the world.
