‘Bodysurfing’ Alligator Filmed at Alabama Beach

It’s not every day you see an alligator relaxing at the beach, but recently Alabama beachgoers saw just that. The gator, which was spotted on Dauphin Island, doesn’t appear to be aggressive in any way. Instead, it looks to be merely observing its surrounding, relaxing as little waves break over it. That led to a handful of reports saying it was bodysurfing, but that’s a bit of a stretch. Luckily, the people who saw the alligator decided to keep their distance, because as we know, people routinely get way too close to wild animals.
