Tiger sharks are notorious for their bizarre eating habits. Scientists have found some strange objects in their stomachs, including license plates, computer keyboards, tires, and even a bag full of money. On a recent trip to the Bahamas, diver Jim Abernethy learned of this specie’s peculiar appetite first-hand, as a large tiger shark suddenly decided it was hungry for Jim’s camera. Either that or it needed some new photography gear. Abernethy attempted to keep hold of the camera, but was dragged through the water by the shark before finally letting go. The shark then swam away into the murky waters with the camera still in its mouth. Whether or not the diver got his equipment back is still undetermined.
