Spend 72 Hours with the Mammoth Unbound Terrain Park Crew

The Toyota U.S. Grand Prix is about to happen at Mammoth. After a massive snowstorm finally brought the goods, the Unbound Park Crew had just 72 hours to build the necessary features.

Mammoth Mountain’s Unbound terrain park is pretty legendary. Just ask any of the pro skiers and snowboarders who will be there for the Toyota U.S. Grand Prix, the last U.S. Olympic qualifier before the Winter Olympics in Beijing. But until the recent storm that unleashed an insane amount of powder on the Sierras, there was little hope for the Grand Prix happening at Mammoth. Now that the snow has arrived, the Unbound Terrain Park Crew has its work cut out for them. Follow along as they get to work installing rails, building jumps and carving halfpipes in a 72-hour blitz preparing for the U.S. Grand Prix.
