Jordane Legal has been hucking himself off things for years. Remember that laid out front flip over a restaurant patio in Chamonix a few years ago? Well, there’s one thing that should be expected from a life hucking oneself off things for years: injury. And recently, Legal suffered an injury after hucking himself off yet another thing. This time, it was a very big thing.
“Today could have been much more serious,” he wrote on Instagram. “So grateful to have only pain and just a broken vertebra and the sternum. What a mistake to have… landed on the flat.”
Despite the fact that he’s been, as I mentioned, hucking himself off things for years, this was one of the larger ones. “It was one of the first times in the air that I had time to think about the consequences. Very important to train and stretch.”
So remember, folks, next time you’re sending it off a huge cliff and you land in the flats, make sure you’ve limbered up first. What’s amazing is the fact that Legal, after breaking a vertebra and his sternum, still managed to ski away. Adrenaline’s a hell of a drug, ain’t it?
