Great white sharks are really scary. They’re big, they’re strong, and they’ve evolved over millions of years to be the most efficient killers (apart from us, of course) on the planet. But just because they’re scary doesn’t mean we should kill them all. Apex predators are necessary for the survival of all creatures. If sharks go extinct, we’re screwed.
This shark is absolutely monstrous. Spotted off Guadalupe Island, Mexico, it may very well be the largest one ever seen, at least according to Dr. Mauricio Hoyos Padilla, the Mexican shark researcher responsible for the video.
