This Snowboard Built From the Agave (Tequila) Plant Is Beautiful

Signal Snowboard’s Dave Lee is back with another episode of Every Third Thursday, where he builds weird boards to do cool things or cool boards out of weird material. In this episode he does the latter, creating a beautiful snowboard out of agave plant or agave tequilana (the base ingredient for your favorite margarita). According to Lee, at the end of the agave plant’s life, a few will blossom a “pistil that can be harvested and made into a wood-like material.” Check out the gorgeous ride they make and then have a gander at Kyle Mack, testing ‘er out in Colorado.
