Cory Lopez has always been one of my favorite surfers and very close friends. He really helped me map myself out when he was first on the scene in the mid 90's. Cory is a humble man and yet so progressive with everything he does. This shot stokes me out, because of the height, colors and the fact that Cory always just goes for it. Photo: Patrick Eichstaedt
I cut my teeth in the surf game years ago by sitting on the beach for hours video taping a young Andy Irons and Cory Lopez charge Log Cabins. You may have also seen me on the wrong side of the camera in “The Decline” and “5’5″ Redux.”
I was born in Miami, Florida, in 1974 and moved to New Smyrna Beach in 1976. I began working with …Lost and through opportunities there, I have imagery published all over the globe. Family, health and friends are most important to me, and my school was traveling and listening to others–The School of Trial and Error.
